Springs on its way
Well, with the winter almost over and things heating up, it looks like we are in for another really wet Spring. Recently the last couple of weeks we have had some major flooding with all the snow melting and raining at the same time. The ponds and small lakes should have enough water throughout the hole year with lots of expected rain to come in the next month.
With the harsh winter ending, the pheasant are starting to spread out into pastures and open fields, enjoying the warm weather. We had a very small loss in the amount of birds taken from the winter kill. With spring ahead it wont be to long till you start seeing the roosters polishing up their feathers and strutting the roads for mating season. Its quite a site to see the roosters fighting all over and not budging off the roads. For the deer, they are back to their normal selves and roaming the area all over area.
Also, if any of you hunters keep up with twitter look us up, either grandslampheasanthunts or look up corbin korzan.
